you’re right, there is plenty of other companies worldwide that offer neuromorphic solutions, but, if I’m not mistaken, Brainchip is the only one selling IP.
The market is big enough for more than one company to be successful.
I don’t know too much about Appen but it is not a fair comparison, they do not sell new technology like neuromorphic, they are not trying to change what’s been used for decades such as CNN’s, they are a training platform (something like that) whereas with Brainchip they are the “brain” the accelerator, different to APPEN completely.
Now, with all available information on neuromorphic companies, the management we have, whether people here like them or not, they are the most qualified to do the job. And I’d much rather try my “luck” in the US than the ASX.
If I may make a comment in timing, we all knew this was going to happen at some stage, but I never thought it would be this soon, and I’d much rather it further along, but, it does seem like it is being set up for something big in the 12 or so months this will take.
Time will tell.
