For as much as I really enjoy this thread, which should be a forum, and I absolutely agree with mongo tonight

1. You guys should be positioned to be able to take advantage of "A MAJOR BREAK" either way

2 The odds say that hedgie is right on diretion, it's probably going to break south
2a) The odds have not proven hedgie right yet
2b) We concern ourselves with the extent of the break , only after we get the direction

3) stay liquid. Dont bet on the outcome till you "know" what it is;

9)(i) my analysis says that you 'normally' get tremors before a major move. Look for the tremors, If you find them, assess the quantum, (then tell me). Then place your bets always remembering, your job as a trader is to profit from the moves, whichever the direction.
