Combined market cap of the two largest ETFs is @$12b, ergo $12 million worth of MSB. Some of that may have occurred on Friday, pre loading. Hard to know. There will be others. Cant remember how many last time we played this game but gut feel is 10m shares for the ETFs, index hugging insets hard to tell. Last time didn't work so, wasn't that long ago so there will be those that will just wait.
To put it in context, top 10 stocks have a combined Mkt cap of @$1.1 trillion. So run a billion dollar fund, need to buy $1 million MSB. If MSB goes up 25%, $1m X 25%, $250,000 profit. Fund added value, from $1 billion to $1,000,250,000. added value. 0.025% IMHO a lot of active managers will wait for sales numbers and meetings and further approvals.
