I just came across an aspiring Iron Ore miner in central QLD - Eastern Iron Limited. Has there been any discussion on this company here in the context of BGD. It seems that they've got a small magnetite resource (18.6 Mt contained) within arms length of the rail line to Gladstone.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
If that's the case, then I'd reckon Boulder has its eye on them. Access to iron has been the missing piece of the puzzle for the Gladstone project in my mind, and shipping it from WA just doesn't seem to have the potential to make the project seriously internationally competitive.
If Boulder could secure iron in QLD then the project is a no brainer.
