    Although I think it is a perfect fit for Latrobe if they found some appropriate coal seams, I think the politics will be just as bad or worse. It is a more densely populated area and communities will not put up with a "QLD-reject" so-to-speak. Further, the Latrobe is constantly on the Green radar, and they will use the contamination scare tactic to resist it on ideological grounds. CXY will find it a hard sell. In the latrobe, I think the coal drying technologies are the most politically expedient solution that they will pursue combined with increased gas generation.

    I am disappointed that eneabba deal feel through as I think we need to focus on much more isolated areas of Australia. I remain convinced that CXY can produce within Australian pollution standards, especially if the wider coal=-based industries can. But the politics of it means if QLD fails the Eastern seaboard will be off limits. Just my opinion.
