JD,
i use hursts cycle theory which suggests
stocks, indicies, commodities etc
have a 'commonality' which means they
generally move together in the same
cycle sequence, but not necessary exactly
in sync, they can be in different phases
and shifts with varying degrees of up or down
moves etc...
if u look at the shanghai index it is already
at a low so it may not be as dramatically
affected as the dax which is more at a high...
the xjo is 50/50 as there still is a short
term triangle in play so its horses for
courses depending on where the cycle is
(short/long term) on the index/stock etc
u trade
i believe its the sum of factors rather than
fundamentals alone that influence price moves
hence why there are 'disconnects' from time to time...
I have spoken about the above chacteristics
before with volt and treggs and a few others...
and yes im in perth (land of ned), just email if
u want a private chat...
