US markets fell sharply on Monday after President Donald Trump confirmed tariffs on Mexico and Canada would kick in from Tuesday. The Dow Jones ended 1.48% lower, S&P500 lost 1.76% and the Nasdaq dropped 2.64%. The local market is set to open lower, with SPI futures down 71 points or 0.86%.
