Yes. If I was IFL I would be checking in with bidders to advise them of the additional costs do you want to do a deal if not I am gonna allow NAB to redeem thr debt with equity.
Think about if some offered you chance to remove $200M debt on your balance sheet you would do it. At $3.55 if no take over offers were provided.
I suspect IFL has received some offers and accessed that these are superior then issuing shares at $3.55.
