I agree, it's a fanastic analogy. The last 12 months have felt so much longer to me than the preceeding 11 years (and I know plenty here have been here earlier). It is interesting to look back and see where I've been inpatient in the past and whilst I had purchased since 2014 I sold some at $0.0430 which is $0.86 in today's money, that hurts lol. On the flipside that was back in a time where I could afford to buy a home on a single income (just) so I suppose I can't be too unhappy. I only kept a small amount which subsequently 10 bagged, but I've invested a lot more ($ wise) now.
