Probably right, however PL8, which is another LIC that pays monthly fully franked dividends, keeps trading at a premium to NTA even though the portfolio has not outperformed the index most of the time. Rightly or wrongly there seems to be a lot of investors, probably retirees, who are attracted to funds that pay monthly dividends
