the plant is just to show it works, if they make any money its a bonus
The US produces 2 T of Galium and Germanium a year. Anyone thinking the plant will have lots of feedstock from making the metal and getting the scraps out of the smelter needs to learn to use google.
the scrap from used parts is another matter, but you got to wait a decade for this scrap ( ontop of what they have sitting in wearhouses, nobody is digging up landfill in the next 10 years, you have to be delusional to believe this)
