    I disagree.

Look at PLS' balance sheet, and you'd realise that HMW is actually not that big of a cost impost for them - particularly if they offer script, and it's a fantastic way to diversify into brine (which Dale Henderson, the company CEO, said that they wouldn't rule out a small brine opportunity - which is exactly what GLN is).

Also, P1000 is complete (it's actually now P850 given that the Altura plant is now in C&M). I believe you're referring to P2000.

I get what you're saying r.e. a lot of Hotcopper posters saying that major companies (BHP. RIO, FMG, PLS etc) may look to takeover their company. However, what I will say is that I made my biggest ever purchase into a single company over a 2 month period, in LTM, 1-2 months before RIO made their offer. And this was based on me speculating that RIO would make an offer, as my thoughts were that RIO doesn't play around with a US$800m acquisition into a completely new sector which has no synergies to their existing operations (which is exactly what Rincon in Argentina was), unless they're interested in going hard at this space, which is exactly what they did with their LTM acquisition.
