    Reply: If you want to look at a long term chart and assume that a dollar has the same purchasing power today as that dollar had 10 years ago because "Thats the price on the chart and that's the way it stays" you are welcome to do so.

    Reply: You may "guarantee" that it will bite me on the backside. I disagree with your "guarantee." I regularly make use of adjusted for inflation prices when looking at dollar values over a time frame of many years for the simple FACT is the US dollar keeps losing its purchasing power compared with today. I have NOT been bitten on the backside.

    Reply: Of course I ACCEPT that people bring different views and thoughts to HC as a forum. A forum is for presenting different views and opinions and ALSO for commenting/debating those differing views and opinions. So how about you ACCEPT that I am allowed to disagree with you and to post that I disagree with you. Thanks.
