MM, hope you've covered your shorts in WES.

This will have the WES enthusiasts truly salivating, as it will - rightly or wrongly - now become clear to those that want to believe it, and even those who were until now ambivalent, that WES's outperformance of WOW in grocery retailing is not only a mere one-off, flash in the pan, but is now becoming a bit of a habit (insofar as four or so quarters can constitute a habit).

As I've said before when discussing WES, given the acute levels of operating leverage inhenrent in grocery retailing, when the virtuous retail cycle takes hold, the earnings momentum is hard to stall.

Watch the broking analysts all crawl out of the woodwork in coming with increased target prices deep into the $40s.

And watch the marginal offshore buyer step furhter into the breech. For there are few liquid, large cap stocks that are hold such significant weightings in Australian stock market indices, that have the lure of 20% CAGR in EPS - with seemingly little risk of disappointing - over the next few years.

I don't think there is much that will stop WES from continuing to go up.
