That paper was published using false names because Nikolov is a deluded fraud.
When he was questioned in detail about his "pressure" theory after a lot of deflection his answer to the cause of the ice ages was that the planets atmospheric pressure had decreased by 20%. When questioned about how this ended he ran away and declined to answer.
This wasn't his most extreme position, he also claimed dinosaurs were large because gravity was weaker, I think this was due to a change in the gravitational constant but forgive me I lost interest at that point.
BTW I know this to be true because I have talked to him directly online, sometime before 2020 when he was promoting his paper.
The people you're using for sources have less than zero credibility in any scientific arena.
