Ironically Rio Tinto.

The issue for lithium has always been about funding and the cyclical nature of the pricing.
If you really believed in the assets, they finally have someone with a big purse that can unlock all that value so there is the funding issue resolved.
If I remember rightly, someone mentioned that they expect over 30% of their income to be derived from Lithium. That’s a massive jump from a company that is up until the acquisition producing very little.
Brine is generally recognised as the lowest cost source and other than Jadar, Mt Cattlin and James’s Bay, Rio have picked up some of the best resources that will produce the equivalent of the Global market and beyond going back to when most of us started investing.
Then there are the dividends…
I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
