This shows your lack of understanding of value. When WES purchased KDR it was actually at a massive premium for shareholders to what they would actually have got at the time. Shareholders had to say yes because there other option could have been a lot lower.
KDR was heavily leveraged into the price of lithium. When the price of lithium tanked, so did the share price. This is very common when you invest in miners who are in on commodity and particularly at a certain point in the cycle.
