You have been lucky. There needs to be a re think on the trees that are planted in suburban areas and the ones allowed to stay there. Why anyone would want a eucalypt tree within 100m of their house is beyond me. Looks like the worse is over down here. Just spoke to friends in the upper catchment of the Wilson’s River. They have recorded 350mm but the water has got away with only light showers now.
