Thanks re. April/May 23 entry
Graph starting to look like a Lassonde curve ... I thought they might avoid it by quietly developing in the background then announcing a mining plan.
Seems not. They persisted with the fiction that they might not mine NN for too long. And now they are talking about a "feasibility" study mid year.
Who seriously thinks it might not be feasible to mine NN and Pepper with the decline already built, most of the mill in place, and the nature of the deposit, not to mention funds in the bank?
They should have announced that their initial mining plan will be completed mid year, with updates to follow as they add to the resource. Most of their mining plan should be in place already. They should be talking about getting ahead on all long lead time elements, not just the declines. How is the search for Ball Mill going? MEK found one and took out a bridging loan from friends and associates ahead of full financing approval, and trucked it from Bendigo.
If they really aren't sure if they have a feasible mine they should (a) move over for someone competent (b) stop talking about how insanely good it is to have such a deposit next to a near new plant (but maybe it will be not feasible to mine ... seriously).
I do wonder if they thought a takeover would save them the trouble .... I wonder if the incentives for the management team are sufficiently geared towards successful production.
