The major reason that Huntley recommends AVIOD on this share is the short life of the existing oil fields (esp. after the BMG blowout).
But BeiBu and ZhaoDong may hold ROC's future here.
China has 9.6 square km land. But oil fields in scale have been only found in Northeast and Northwest (strictly speaking two states only). That's part of the reason why China is focusing on the sea now for oil exploration and defend its territory at sea (currently with Japan)
