Maybe, I think Trump is doing good things cutting spending and waste from government which should reduce bond prices but investors are after higher yield currencies like the Euro now because they are going to debt spend/waste money to fight Russia for no good reason so the currency is going up because of the bond prices. Gold is ignoring this stupidity, personally I think the US dollar is better structurally now with Trump rather than the crazy spending of the Biden administration. Thing is all central banks in the world are increasing money supply always, some more than others at certain times, Gold is working on the aggregate of increases because it knows if one reduces spending, others start spending more and vise versa.
