I think I was very wrong. Shortman latest report shows basically zero shorting of MYX.

I have just spent the last hour researching the four 'Parties to Agreement' listed at the bottom of the form. Here is what I found.

CC&L Global Market Neutral II Fund
CC&L U.S. Q Market Neutral Onshore Fund II
CC&LQ 140/40 Fund

This is a UK based hedge fund

Integrated Core Strategies (Asia) Pte Ltd

This is a Singapore based broker and fin services provider

Trefoil Select Funds SPC - Stylus SP

This is a UK based Hedge fund run out of Guernsey and domiciled in the Cayman Islands.

Regal Funds Management Pty Ltd as trustee for Atlantic Absolute Return Fund

This is a well known Australian Fund that can go long or short. It is only open to sophisticated investors with an initial investment sum of $250k and minimum additions of $100k+

UBS Securities Australia Ltd

These have been acquired by UBS itself.
Owning 4,541,670 shares out of 5,136,670 shares as per first notice
Owning 4,609,376 shares out of 7,325,079 shares as per second notice.

This means about 2.2m shares have been bought over the last few days for UBS clients.

Two notices lodged on 4th March and at 7:20pm on 7th March indicate that most of the 9.02% of shares acquired were done so as on market purchases.

Therefore I do not believe this is a shorting exercise.

Interestingly UBS started buying shares in MYX at the end of October last year. I wonder what prompted that decision?

It would seem to me that these 4 entities are UBS clients who are ultimately entitled to be the beneficial owners of the 3.34% of MYX shares and certainly a large bloc of shares that could vote no to the scheme.

It is though unclear whether UBS or the ultimate client gets to vote on the Scheme of Arrangement. Refer to page 4 of the announcement.

I would encourage any interested MYX current holder or prospective MYX holder to verify my analysis above or advise where it is wrong. All comments and/or criticsm welcome.

I could be completely wrong.
However I believe this is a sizeable holding that may seek to have the current offer amended.

I'm not sure what's going on either D, but I believe UBS is acting for Cosette. This is a clip from the Scheme of Implementation
