R & D grants only cover actual R & D costs incurred - they're not, as you seem to believe, gifts to the company to spend as they please. So where does the money come from for overhead, travel expenses, rent, salaries, etc. And, of course, Jimmy's (not entirely insignificant) fees and loans?
