Hi PP the whole property system has been hollowed out for the end users, hence home owners, renters, landlords and the workers that pay a high % of their wage in taxes and not be able to pay for baisic living expences, well done to the big 2 political parties, look what they have done , wedged 1/3 of the population into renting for their whole life.
If you wish to invest in property buy shares in WES, CBA or anyother company that services the property market, I also think we will see a raise in LIC, STD, JLG & owner corporation management companies as the governments seam hell bent on building units(or as they should be rightly called,"the right to occupie an air space"). And if for any reason the property market goes south like it is now you can sell your shares in 2 seconds flat, but if you hold the physical asset your toast.
Property I believe will be cactus for sometime, if you are an owner, in the past it was easy money, but not now
