Some facts on the state owned Paks Nuclear Power Plant.....
The Paks plant is owned and operated by Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd, which is a subsidiary company of state-owned Hungarian Power Companies Ltd
On 30 March 2009 the Hungarian Parliament with 330 votes for, 6 against and 10 abstained gave its principal consent to the preparation works of potential new nuclear units.
The addition of new nuclear modules to the existing plant was not going to happen over night.............fast forward 2011
Hungary will issue a tender in early 2012 to expand its Paks nuclear station, which will be followed by bid evaluation in the first half of 2013, government officials announced on January 25.
Hmm ! Now lets think about this. Hungarys state owned nuclear power plant currently suppling 43% of the countrys power now wishes to "push the button" and expand. Now, where on earth are they going to obtain a consistent and reliable supply of U308 ?
I know of a little company with a highly prospective project in the Mecsec Hills (pecs 65mlb @ 720ppm)) who have just renewed an agreement with Mecsek-Oko and Mecs?kerc with a new target of `150mlb @ 700ppm.
Oh, and by the way and they just happen to be state owned as well. More than just coincidence ??
