...Dec 2017 PLS share price was c$1.00...9 year later it is $1.76/share...falling by 5% a day....that is a CAGR of <9%...

...during that period you had a super cycle, where the commodity went up >1000%....

....so 9%/annum return is horrible....

.....to pay this guy $2M/year plus with $2M signing bonus + relocation costs to Quebec is a disaster.... 2041...the date where you will see your first dividend from this project...he would have been paid over $100M....but your dividend is going to be based what he gets paid...so for all you know he would be paid $40M/year...and nothing left for dividends... look at what happened to PLS....they paid shareholders only 0.25cent in 2023...when the share price was at $5/share.... first and last dividend....have a look what Ken made during 2017-2023...

...so again....go and look at PLS historic financials and see what was the total pay during his tenure....if PLS share is going to go down another 40% .. you would be back to where it was in 2018....now that is value for money for shareholders....

....bottom line:

$22M/year of shareholder money is spent feeding these leeches... they will suck you dry and move to the next victim/venture...

...Volkswagen funds were raised at CA$4.40....the share price is 45 day later CA$2.40/share...and management is using that CA$69M on paying themselves the highest compensation packages in history for any exploration company....

...if that were my money....I would force management to accept share price performance compensation packages during exploration phase and use all pre-production funds raised, to get the project over the ground ...even if that means to buy back shares... this only applies when you have raised funds at significant higher price, than market price... equity value preservation pre financial close is imperative....so if you could reduce shares at a lower price than issued...it is a no -brainer,....

...pointless to dilute early shareholders by issuing 20 billion shares at 1c later to fund development equity upon financial close...

...but this management team does not get it.... ask them to tell you how much the recent 'ringing of the TSX bell cost weekend' cost shareholders....?

But that is a small bit of the $22M/year office costs....

....so sure....if you want to pay Ken another $0.5 billion so that you could earn a 1 cent dividend in 2041....go for it...please buy more shares... I need your broker to lend it out so that I can augment my short....

...$0.15cents will happen sooner than you think in this market and management team....

.....and the only way to avoid that is to buy-back or buy-out....

Allocate $5M for buy backs...that would crystallize >50% increase of share value......cancel those buy back shares........shorter will be forced to exit and price would go up another 30%..do another fund raise at a higher price... and voila....share price is up 80% and you have your $5M cash back... rinse and repeat ....shorters would hopefully avoid the share like the plaque....and the equity value would be preserved until FID....

....the question is: so which carrot is is going to take this time to convince me and other shorters to close our shorts...? Based on the trajectory and the management team spent....I would short as much an I can....only way to make money at this stage....
