Lets go over the rant in detail.
"Why wait until today to announce that the testing won't START until the end of Feb. They knew this before today, and were thus holding information from the ASX."
The main reason the trial is not going ahead this week as planned is because of delays during the holiday period in the transport of the bulk sample, then this caused them to miss their allotted time at the pilot plant which has tight schedules. Management would have been pulling out all stops to arrange testing as soon as possible even trying to change the scheduling. Now that it is obvious that nothing can done except wait for the next available spot they have made the announcement.
"It reeks that the price was manipulated as well, seems odd to buy in to the crap announcement and alot did right to the second before."
The price was not manipulated, people were buying in on the expectation of news, nothing odd about that at all.
"The announcement was poor as well, it should clearly identify reasons and a timeline for completion."
It did just that:
-Timing of pilot plant trials are related to other trials and to scheduling with the mine in which the pilot plant autoclave is located,
-Mantle's bulk trial is now expected to be undertaken in late February.
This announcement really did sort out the wheat from the chaff...
