'Auric is proceeding to buy the mill. Fantastic news. The price is extraordinarily cheap. Forget the mill. Knock it down and build a new one is the general consensus. There is electricity there and already that saves you more than $10m if you were somewhere else trying to build a facility from scratch, not to mention all the permits in place. Plus a few tenements to boot. Lots of synergy here. In a rebuild if it comes up at 500,000tpa which seems to be the minimum these days then every chance it can churn out 35,000 to 50,000 ounces of gold per year. Raising capital for this should be a fait accompli if the gold price stays where it is, let alone if it goes through A$5,000 an ounce which is not an uncommon number popping into peoples heads these days.'

Comrades....heartening news today with the upcoming purchase of Burbanks.
I love the flavour of this move because it makes Auric just that little bit different from others and that's exactly what you need when you are competing in the junior gold space.

Just how much does it cost to do a rebuild? And at what size do you build?
These will be the fascinating questions Auric will face. What's the difference in price between a 500,000tpa mill and a 1 million ton variety?

Can anyone shed light on this?

Or is it they can find a mill somewhere else they can relocate quicker and at least cost?
