I’m against nuclear for two main reasons.

1. Cost to build.

Just think, one of the most complex and technically exact of engineering builds, in the hands of the CFMEU. What could possibly go wrong! Probably double the expected build time and quadruple the cost.

2. Decomissioning.

Why beyond my lifetime, but someone has to pay the huge cost of decommissioning. With a coal plant, you can just blow it up. Just ask South Australia.

PS. I have no issues around safety.
