Your post makes me think that ASIC and the ASX's listing rules need to be changed to make it harder for Biotech businesses to get listed on the ASX.
I wonder whether Biotechs should be forced to get clearance from an independent scientific committee to ensure their project or drug target is sufficiently worthy to be put forward to the public for investment.
In hinsight it looks like this project was not worthy of leaving the ANU science labs.
