i doubt they would spin out the project unless they entered a jv with a major. Possibly could sell out 80% of the project and leave 20% free carried to till FID but my guess any major would prefer to buy out right.
These projects are in the billions for Capex and that's not including $ for drilling and feasibility studies. Chris and the board have a blocking stake atm but as they continue to dilute their ability to control the direction of the company diminishes. Thats why i believe would be looking to prove scale and sell it on.Similar result to azure with gina...that was the best result for shareholders, imagine if they didn't get the takeout , they would be looking like liontown...
