A long list - yes Russia is on the list but so are many other countries.
One of the bloodiest conflicts on this list was the 'War of the Spanish Succession' from 1701-1714 with alleged 1,251,000 deaths.
Of course mainstream media was not available till relative recentness but even with such media availability many conflicts listed are rarely if ever were known about - unless one was a local to the region. Fact check - Russia the only country to start a war in Europe is thus debunked.
