As I recall it was a dispute with offtake partners and a fall of ground in the mining areas that were mostly to blame for the demise of RVR (along with a dip in metal prices and post Covid cost inflation). RVR spent a lot of money on Thalanga from 2020-2022 and I would suggest that the mill was in a pretty OK condition in 2022 - but I doubt any maintenance has been happening since 2022 post the stupid decision by the Administrators to surrender the plant site to the QLD state government was made. What a bunch of numbskulls.
