That was a slightly unexpected turn of events... could go either way tomorrow as far as I can see.

Either the announced interest from external parties is going to keep it going upward. It's possible that the gap-theorists may give up holding down low based on that, which would bring some big players back into the market... and would probably make these big investors wanting to buy in give up on the SPP sooner or later as futile. In which case we're back over 2c soon enough.

Otherwise, if the big players manage to hold strong to their convictions... it could start inching lower again slowly like it has been doing before. In that case my 'big players' assessment is essentially unchanged.

The deciding factor is going to be whether the upward pressure of this announcement can break the will of enough of the big players.

If nothing else, it will make the days looking at BKP trading more interesting again ;)
