It is potentially a serious issue - with alleged fraudulent bookkeeping and kick-backs to Interprac advisers via 3rd party mechanisms for recommending the product.
The risk to SEQ is that ASIC may deem Interprac's AFSL supervision and monitoring policies aren't up to scratch. This may involve a client remediation program or enforceable undertaking. Any AFSL who's been through this will tell you how expensive this is - lawyers, auditors, project teams etc.
