For ease of calculations ive assumed a 10k investment at 30c per share resulting in 33,333 shares. At 2c per share they are worth $666.66.

For the above punter post merger, their 10k investment would be worth $1,240.

To recoup their 10k investment they share price would need to reach $4.50 using my calculations and assumptions from earlier which i think are more than reasonable to assume? And the market cap would need to reach roughly 7.5 billion dollars.

Keep in mind a 220ktpa NAL has an NPV of 2.2billion. A brownfields expansion thats lets say doubles output, we could conservatively estimate NPV is say 4 billion? This is of course assuming a lithium price of 1,352 USD (as per DFS LOM assumption).

A fully integrated carbonate plant at NAL has an NPV of 5 billion dollars.

This is purely highlighting that once lithium prices return to roughly 1352usd. Mergco should be be valued at the very least 2.2 billion. At this point the punters shares would be worth 2,933. Add in a couple of years for brown fields expansion or carbonate plant and they would be well on their way to recouping their initial investment.

10 Years is just a number you've plucked out of thin air. At the end of the day why do we feel bad for the punter who purchased at 30c per share? they should know the risks in the stock market, have stop losses or strategies to start recouping some losses well before the 5 year mark anyway.
