Yes Baltic dry index up by US$3500/d in one week from 10th to 17th March for Panamax vessels from US$9.1k/d to US$12.6k/d - not good for costs but must show demand for iron ore is there again.
MGX lucky to lock-in a number of ships to the end of the month at the lower rate from previous weeks but freight for Q4 ships will be 40% more expensive.
