I'm all in on the green shift. I dont dispute it or the decision to commit to it. But lets not pretend that the IO industry got where it is without the tax payer forking out for it... Industry has always and will always have its hand out. Not just IO either. Everything from crummy whitegoods vendors to super massive Financial institutions have suckled on the teat.
More kudos for Fortescue to CHOOSE to put their money where their mouth is quite literally and decide to not consume the diesel rebate.
