I dont have a subscription to AFR, but I believe there is a fundamental deterioration at other Metrics funds, such as MOT. If you look at MOT portfolio report released on 20 Feb 2025, there is a huge jump in equity/equity-like position from 16% (historical norm) at Sep 2024 to 25% at Dec 2024. This likely means that a significant proportion of the loans at MOT defaulted/underwent restructuring into equity.
For MXT, its higher quality portfolio would hold up much better comparatively.
