The CEO's role is not to purchase shares to prop up the share price. Obviously when management gets 'skin in the game' is often leads to better performance by a company, but I'd be more concerned if the company was not meeting targets etc. Let's see if he is making sure the company does that - which we won't know for another 6 months or so.
