Sorry, diagram is not relevent to Crater Mtn. It shows the massive sulphide black smoker style of mineralisation. Examples of that are Nautilus' Solwara deposit that is 1500m under water in Bismark Sea off the coast of PNG. This is in a pull-appart environment.

Crater Mtn is more an uplift environment. It is more likely that there is/was a porphry/granite underneath driving the mineralised fluids. Presence of base metals normally indicates you are slightly lower in the system. Feeder zones tend to be high grade. However, until we get the assays it is difficult to tell where the latest hole was in the system.
