47m 15c options august 2011: in the money

It remains to be seen whether these options are 'in the money' come August.

Assuming they are and they're all converted, there's another 6 million odd in the kitty for PYC.

It is a curious pattern of keen selling around 8 cents I am seeing.

Does anyone have a clue what the story is here?

Could there be a sub-plot re. takeover designs by an outside party. SP suppression is always a good way to get leverage in negotiations. And it dosn't take deep pockets to do so with PYC. Alternately, it could just be 2010 buyers taking profits. I do like a conspiracy story however!! :)

I am actually quite optimistic the SP will be closer to 20 cents come August particularly since the trend is for big pharmas to outsource research work.

And contracted research work is PYC's bread and butter until 'their ship comes in' on a couple of royalty generating peptide-drug delivery combinations.

Did anyone note the Pfizer's big UK research facility closing announcement in this morning's news?
