Yes, indeed. I was fooled by media, believe we are different from the Yanks. TV over there every hurricane begins with a monster. Guess what, they are all the same, news worth is universal.
But to the credit of Qld government and people, better be prepared than sorry. What a relief!
But the image of broken banana trees brought back my memory and optimism. Why? I drove through QLD all way up to Cairns during August 2006, 5 months after Cyclone Larry. Innsofail, Cardwell we stopped by. Only topless banana trees told me why bananas cost $15/kg then. The rest are all back to normal. I guess people over there are very tough and experienced, not like our bunker-heading TV reporters. lol.
Well, market is unpredictable. I just added a few short positions with margin of safety. I still believe 60 days rally in US market is long enough. Correction is due. I could be wrong. But I have safety break in place. I will watch carefully early next week.
Good luck every one.
