The confidence shown by Yuman Fong during the week- mixed with the great FDA grant, really dose put some wind back in the sails, for those patient and weather beaten long term investors.
Forget where its traded in the past (63c in 2021) or where its declined to recently (3.4c Two weeks ago). This stock has two important factors to consider as an investment.
Firstly, until either overwhelming data or a deal leading to or providing revenue happens, then this is just a start up bio stock. Should either happen- remembering March is almost dusted, with such data dropping by mid year. Then the waits nearly over. This baby will either sink or swim over the next 9 months. Should the science live up to all that's been suggested by Leslie & Yuman, then when the 16 months of data come's through- Then I believe the Share price will be a few multiples of where its trading now, with larger steady increases as further developments roll out.
Secondly, Should the data be pushed back further without explanation, or is unsubstantial- Then although IMU might not be done & dusted, it would be set for the junk yard.
I've changed my view over recent weeks, as its become clear IMU isn't just using the bile duct area for an entrance into first lines of care. Others have popped up in recent weeks. This is not done unless things have been progressing. These intakes of patients and the time involved in completing the data, simply isn't where you'd throw your remaining capital, if you were running out of time.
I'm all in, and believe the run up to mid year will provide news that sees a long overdue share price rerate. Forget saying I'm out at years end, or so on- if the long anticipated (and continually put back over 16 months) data isn't something special, then there will be almost nothing to sell. The pressure is now firmly on Leslie. She is either a CEO worthy of the $2m salary she's now grown for herself. Or a game show host who's full of hot air, in front of contestants having a punt, as most would go home disappointed. I maintain my faith on the back of patient recruitments, coupled with the confidence and endorsement's showed by Yuman Fong in recent months.
The next few months will see all cards turned -Hang in there. If this thing gets a partner, or reaches American markets or investors, no ASX manipulators will be able to hold it back !
