Thank you @Fitz65 for sharing that research. I can confirm the statement in the last para as I follow NMG's current exploration at Golden Eagle. They have recently released exceptional assay grades near surface (GOLD hits 20m @ 277g/t from 40m & 4m @ 1,368g/t from 52m - 24/11/2024) and more recently, visible gold at depth of 253m. (10/03/2025) Assays pending. Which supports the thesis that although gold near surface in the supergene zone may be bonanza grade, there is still inplaced structural gold at depth.
To me it looks like a situation which we may find at Hill End also, in due course.
