YoYo, great post. A picture is worth a thousand words. Madu & Dean Goodwin(holding the bar) Uncle who was the head maintenance man who was in charge of painting & assembling the Gekko. His 19-year-old niece straight out of school was CEO of the company that did the deal with Classic Minerals over the purchase of the Gekko processing unit for X millions.is it Mr Michael Hanby? That company had applied to be wound up late last year.

It would be nice to repost and review the questionnaire letter from ASX about the purchase of the Gekko about 2-3 years ago.. Also the notice from the company about the Capital Raise to go into production at Kat Gap & to purchase the Gekko of which shareholders never found out the purchase price of the Gekko , only the contract price of the Gekko & refurbishment from uncle & niece. Can someone post these documents? Sorry, my computer skills are in the dark ages.
When GhoXXX, launched the full-blow personal attack on my motivation, I said I felt something was coming from the company. We knew this could happen.
I don't know all the details about Fairstar / Great Western Resources, except there was a fistfight at the AGM.

After all this sad & sorry saga, it will be interesting to see if there is an attempt to re-capitalize CLZ or to place it into Admin . I guess they now have some money to pay the main financiers' debt & director fees & wages. And the trade creditors will have to be satisfied with more CLZ confetti.
It is just unfortunate that shareholders don't figure in any of this, as their role seems limited to providing the money, for the company to play with.
How has this company benefited shareholders or the ASX? All we can do is learn from this company and try not to touch anything, that doesn't have a solid track record.
The part of all this that I find most upsetting, is the way a host of financiers backed them, but it is the speculative mining sector of the Stock Market after all. What a total stitch-up. Only the government & the ASX/ ASIC can fix this.
