I really hope DRE never consolidate!!! I have never been involved in a consolidation that has worked out well for shareholders. AIS, TOE, VRL (old si6), BML, AUC are all down on their consolidation price and most of them are precious metals or copper stocks so you would have expected them to perform well in the current commodity price environment.
The problem with consolidations is that those previous support levels get reset and spread out. With the way the ASX is already heavily manipulated with bot trading and the firepower of institutions who have headstarts and exposure to shorting etc, it doesn’t take much to drive the price down very quickly when those support zones spread out.
Based on my experience with consolidations, if DRE decide on one I will be selling out. I will not be burnt again.
