I think you need to relax a little with this short stuff. The numbers simply aren't big enough to worry about.
For the month of March, we've been averaging just over 1M shares traded per day, so on the 19-Mar, the total outstanding was only 290K. That can be closed at a moments notice if required, there are plenty of buyers there. I don't think anyone is risking market manipulation so that they can get a juicy $290 per pip (minus fees). These amounts aren't big enough to have much of an affect, IMO.
