Before the deal was announced JHX was trading around $46.80. I think sources with some knowledge started offloading from $50.45.
If we take $46.80 as pre acquisition price , the difference will be reduced from $3477.64 to $ 2193.34.Investors who bought 24th and 25th and may be next few days will be getting a % of AZEK shares for free. To me JHX is the best place to park some money to get may be 10% return in the short term.
Luckily I delayed my buying to 24th. I didn't realize it will belted today 25th too.
