Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is expected to
announce a gas policy in his budget reply on Thursday, as he faces internal pressure for a short-term response to high-energy prices, given his plan to build nuclear power plants will take a minimum of 10 years.
Dutton on Sunday said
more gas supply was needed to support the need for electricity generation and to bring down energy prices.
